*please note this design is without exterior nesting boxes. Nesting boxes add extra weight, time, and cost. To keep cost down we have excluded boxes. Chickens will lay in the coop (we have 14 currently in use at chicken town and chickens lay just fine). If you want boxes - you can add a milk crate. Nesting boxes were also an area of weakness and leaked, and birds pooped in them!
